West Sac Connect is for non-emergency city questions
West Sac Connect routes non-emergency requests and questions, while police reports, officer response, and urgent animal issues use separate contacts.
West Sac Connect is the online path for non-emergency city questions and concerns. It is meant for routine requests, not for crimes in progress, officer response, or urgent hazards.
That split matters in West Sacramento because many everyday issues sit close to busy roads, levees, industrial areas, neighborhoods, parks, and the riverfront. A request is easier to route when it includes the closest address, cross street, landmark, and a photo if one helps.
The page also makes a few boundaries clear. Police reports and officer response have separate links or dispatch numbers. Animal-services questions may go through West Sac Connect for non-emergency matters, but urgent animal issues use Yolo County Animal Services dispatch.
Use the portal when the issue can wait for normal handling. If the situation is immediate, unsafe, or needs a public-safety response, use the phone number or emergency path shown for that situation.
