Ventura Connects is for routine service requests, not emergencies
Ventura Connects lets people submit routine service requests anonymously or through an account, while urgent hazards and crimes need faster contacts.
Ventura Connects is the city’s routine service request path. It lets people submit a request anonymously or create a free account to track progress and see what others have reported.
That is useful for everyday issues such as potholes, graffiti, debris, broken parking meters, and other local maintenance concerns. The city is clear that emergencies should not go through the app. A water main break, crime in progress, or immediate danger needs 911 or the right urgent phone contact.
For a normal request, include the address, cross street, park, beach access point, or landmark. Ventura has hillside roads, beach areas, downtown blocks, older neighborhoods, and busy visitor corridors, so a map pin and photo can prevent confusion. If the issue is not offered in the app, the city gives a general phone option for service questions.
