Lodi has separate online paths for permits and fix-it reports

Lodi residents can use eTRAKiT for online permitting and the FixiT report form for local concerns, while Public Works keeps a 24/7 emergency number for urgent utility or street issues.

Lodi has a useful split to know before you start clicking. Building and permit work belongs in the eTRAKiT lane, while everyday neighborhood concerns can start with the FixiT report form.

eTRAKiT is the online permitting system. The city page notes that contractors need an account before using it and points people to the Building Division for help. It also links to the scheduled inspection route, which can matter once a project is already underway.

The FixiT form is for reporting a concern in town. It asks for contact and location details so staff can understand where the problem is. If something needs urgent attention, the form page points people to a direct phone number instead. Public Works also keeps a 24/7 number for utility or Public Works emergencies.

For Lodi residents, the main trick is choosing the right door. A reroof, inspection, or permit question belongs with Building and eTRAKiT. A pothole, local concern, or public-works issue may belong with FixiT or the direct Public Works contact.
