Where's My Ballot can make mail voting less mysterious
Vote-by-mail can feel uncertain after the envelope leaves your hand. The Secretary of State’s Where’s My Ballot tool gives voters a way to receive updates by text, email, or voice call as the ballot moves through the process.
That is especially useful if you mail the ballot, use a drop box, move recently, or worry that the signature may need follow-up. It does not replace the county elections office, but it gives you a quieter way to watch the status.
Use the state page before election season gets busy. Check your registration, sign up for ballot tracking, and keep your county elections contact handy. If a ballot is missing or a message says action is needed, respond through the official election office path.
