My Voter Status is the quick election check
The Secretary of State's My Voter Status tool can show registration status, party preference, language preference, vote-by-mail details, and county election office links.
Voting paperwork is much less mysterious when you check the record early. My Voter Status can show whether your registration is active, where your ballot is tied, and which county election office handles the details.
This is a good place to look after a move, name change, party-preference change, missed ballot, or new registration. It can also point you toward vote-by-mail details and the county office that answers local election questions.
Use the tool while there is still time to fix a problem. Save a screenshot or confirmation if you update anything. Election rules have deadlines, so the calm move is to check the record on a normal day, not the night before voting.
