Westminster water bills and trash service use different desks
Westminster home-service questions split into two lanes. Water billing runs through the city. Solid waste, recycling, and sewer service point to Midway City Sanitary District.
For water, the city billing counter is the place for account details and payments. Westminster bills water every eight weeks by zone. The online payment system can show the bill balance and usage history, but it needs the account number and customer number from the bill.
Trash and recycling are different. Solid waste and sewer questions go through Midway City Sanitary District. Commercial solid waste may involve CR&R through that district.
That split can save a phone call. A water bill, water account, or turn-on question belongs with the city billing counter. Cart service, recycling, sewer, and trash pickup questions belong with the sanitation district or the hauler listed through that district.
