Rancho Cordova Online keeps permits and licenses together
Rancho Cordova Online is the city system for licenses, permit and plan submittals, payments, renewals, and some meeting or event space applications.
Rancho Cordova Online is the shared portal for many city permits and licenses. Residents and businesses can use it to apply, renew, and pay. They can also send in plans and track project details.
For business licenses, the email address matters. If you are renewing an existing license, use the same email address already on file. That helps the system find the right account.
For permits, gather the project address, applicant contact, plan files, and a short work description. Add contractor details if you have them. Larger building permits also use the online path for fees, inspections, uploads, and status.
If the job involves meeting or event space, check room availability with the city before sending the online form.

California Porch explains the path. The official source is still the place to confirm the current rule, fee, form, map, deadline, or office decision.
Use the official page before you spend money, file paperwork, rely on a deadline, or change a property.
