AlertLongBeach is the city alert signup to know
AlertLongBeach is the city alert signup worth knowing before you need it. The emergency alerts page explains that the system can send city emergency alerts, severe weather alerts, and notices about incidents that affect Long Beach operations.
This is useful because Long Beach has several kinds of local risk and routine disruption: coastal weather, port activity, low-lying areas, beach events, traffic changes, and city service impacts. An alert account gives the city a way to reach you by the cell number or email address you choose.
Sign up for the city layer, then keep county and state alert sources in mind too. If you live in another city but work, study, dock, or care for family in Long Beach, the signup can still be useful. For live incidents, use current official alerts and the city’s emergency updates page.
