Bellflower is on Metro's future Southeast Gateway Line

Bellflower is part of Metro's planned Southeast Gateway Line, a future light-rail project that could change transit access across southeast Los Angeles County.

BellflowerSoutheast Gateway LineMetro

Bellflower has a future transit story worth watching. Metro’s Southeast Gateway Line is planned to connect the A Line at Slauson Station with Artesia. The route would serve several southeast Los Angeles County cities along the way.

Metro lists it as a 14.5-mile light-rail project. Plans include new stations, a new C Line stop, parking areas, and a train storage and service yard in Bellflower. Metro has shown a 2035 target, but big rail projects can move as design, funding, and building work change.

For now, think of it as a planning item, not a route you can ride today. It is why Bellflower may come up in future rail and street-work talks. Check Metro for the current version before making plans around it.
