Yorba Linda trails connect neighborhoods to bigger open space

Yorba Linda's trail system links local routes with Chino Hills State Park, Carbon Canyon, the Santa Ana River Trail, and other regional open-space paths.

Yorba LindatrailsChino Hills State Park

Yorba Linda is a trail city in a very real way. The city has more than 100 miles of trails for hikers, bikers, and equestrians, and those trails connect to a much larger open-space map.

Local routes link with places like Chino Hills State Park, Carbon Canyon Regional Park, the Santa Ana River Trail, and Yorba Regional Park. Casino Ridge and Quarter Horse staging areas are two of the ways people connect toward Chino Hills State Park.

The important part is that city trails and state park trails do not always follow the same rules. Chino Hills State Park has dog limits and closes after significant rain or during serious fire danger. Before a longer outing, check both the Yorba Linda trail page and the State Parks page. The route may feel connected, but the rule sheet can change when the agency changes.
