TRACER is Tracy's local bus layer

TRACER gives Tracy fixed-route bus service, paratransit and on-demand options, mobile ticketing, and route updates that are worth checking before a trip.

Tracy has a local bus system that can be easy to miss if you mostly think of the city by freeway exits, ACE, or long car trips. TRACER is the local layer for fixed-route bus service, with separate information for paratransit and on-demand rides.

The fixed-route service page is the place to use for schedules, maps, route changes, and fare tools. Tracy lists fixed-route service as running Monday through Friday from about 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., with ADA-accessible buses. The page also points to updated schedule PDFs, student ride information, mobile ticketing, and the RIDE TRACER app for paratransit and on-demand.

For a simple errand, the trip planner may be enough. For a commute, school trip, medical appointment, or connection to another service, look at the latest schedule map too.

Transit details change, especially after route updates. Use the city TRACER page close to the day you ride, then build the rest of the trip around the exact stop and time.
