San Luis Obispo building work runs through InfoSLO first

San Luis Obispo uses InfoSLO for many building permit and inspection tasks, while fire or demolition inspections still need a phone call.

San Luis ObispoInfoSLObuilding permits

San Luis Obispo has plenty of small projects that still need the right city path. That can mean downtown tenant work, hillside homes, older buildings, ADUs, solar, or simple repairs that become permit questions.

InfoSLO is the online path for many building tasks. Residents and contractors can schedule inspections, view permits, pay invoices, and view public records.

There is one important split. Fire or demolition inspections still have to be scheduled by phone. Calls need to be made at least 24 hours before the requested building inspection.

For San Luis Obispo, use InfoSLO for the normal permit and inspection trail. If the job involves fire or demolition inspection, save the phone step early so the project does not get slowed down at the end.
