Moreno Valley electric and trash use different service paths

Moreno Valley Utility handles electric service in its service area, while trash, recycling, and special waste run through the city's Waste Management contract.

Moreno Valley has a city electric utility. That does not mean every home service uses the same desk. Moreno Valley Utility, or MVU, provides electric power in its service area. The MVU page covers how homes and businesses begin electric service.

Trash is a separate lane. Moreno Valley provides trash, recycling, and special waste handling through a Waste Management contract. The regular pickup page explains the three-cart setup, collection calendar, reminder system, and Waste Wizard tool.

For a move, split the list by service. Electric service may point to MVU. Trash, recycling, green waste, pickup-day reminders, and cart sorting point to the city’s waste page. Water, gas, and internet may use other providers tied to the address.
