Chula Vista water service depends on the address

Chula Vistawater serviceOtay Water DistrictSweetwater Authority

Chula Vista does not have one city water counter for every address. Local water service runs through two public providers: Otay Water District and Sweetwater Authority. The right provider depends on the property.

This is useful during a move, a leak question, a water-waste report, a bill question, or a yard project. The city water page points residents to both providers for water-saving programs. Otay also has customer links for service, bills, outages, leaks, and water-waste reports.

If you are unsure who serves the home, check the address first. Once the provider is clear, the next step is easier. Bills go to the provider. Conservation help may come from the provider or city page. Stormwater and street drainage still go through the city.
